Adventure

Hey Twilight friends, I would like to share something a little bit different with you today, instead of backing my 'Criss Cross Adventure' cutfile I used the inlay technique. I did so by drawing around each of the negative pieces, cutting them out then them adhering them in place.

My entire background now lays flush & I find you get less sticky when adhering the pieces in place which is definitely an added bonus for me. Next I positioned my photos, backing them with the off-cuts of patterned paper from the Cocoa Vanilla Studio 'Happy Days' collection.

I surrounded my photos using pieces from the ephemera pack & fussy cut butterflies from the 'Flutterby' patterned paper. My journalling spot came from a cut-apart within the 6x8 pad, a lucky coincidence that it was the same size as my photo's.

Those of you who know me well know that 99% of my layouts finish with some sparkle, & this layout is no exception. Why not give the inlay technique a whirl, & be sure to let me know how you get on!

Much love,

Em x
