Hey Twilight friends, I would like to share this super colourful layout with you today, it is definitely one of those 'more is more' pages. I used 2 cutfiles available on the Twilight website, 'Back To School Pics' & the 'Pencil'.
As you can see I cut the pencil several times, & used them to frame my circular photo. Using the patterned paper as colour inspiration I created the mixed media background using the packaging technique & Distress Oxide Sprays.
I decided to mount the whole page onto a black & white patterned paper for some contrast, plus machine stitched in black around the edge to add texture. When I wrote my journalling the page became unbalanced so I placed a little cluster in the top left hand corner.
To finish, like always, I added some sparkle to my page with some gems. It's not very often that I use a circular photo but I really enjoyed the shape it brought to my page, why not give it a go!
