Good Morning!
I am SO excited to be designing for Twilight for the next few months, using these amazing cut files! I started off playing with the Snow Day file and these adorable photos of my niece. I'm sorry you cant see her, her parents don't want her all over the internet, but I promise the look on her face is priceless!
This was her first snowfall, everything was so white and I wanted to capture that with this layout, so I created a White Out layout for these. I started off with some Vicki Boutin Mixed Media paper and her Iridescent Glaze, I used a stencil I believe is suppose to look like splattered paint, but they looked like the fat snowflakes we had that day, so I got that on and set aside to dry.
Next I cut "Snow Day" with White Glitter paper from CutCardstock. I kept all the inside pieces and wanting to use foam tape to pop those letters up. While cutting, I went stash diving for all my white embellishments. I realized i didn't have much but I ran with what I had. Mylar Snowflakes, hearts, sequins, glitter thickers, and 3 different nuvo drops. Keeping the focus on the snowman shaker and the photos.
Finishing this off was nice and easy once the cut-file was in place and glued down. Keeping 3 focal points, adding the little pieces and then the nuvo drops last. I am famous for smearing them when I don't use them last.. I used Golden Shimmer, Simply White and Chalk White. Below are some closeups of the glitter cardstock and the small embellishments I used.
I had so much fun creating this layout using this fun and fabulous cut file.! Ill Be back in a few weeks with another fantastic cut-file to play with!
