Tea for Two

Hi Crafters, it's Amanda here sharing my second page as a guest designer.

For this one, I chose the 'Tea for Two' cut-file as my title. There are a few versions in the shop with cakes or a cake-stand, but I picked the plain one and customised it by filling the open Os with tiny cakes from the 'Cupcake Elements' cut-file.

I cut 'Tea for Two' at about six inches tall and used the letters as templates to cut the backing pieces from one of the stripes on a paper from Vicki Boutin's Storyteller collection.

Then I matted the cupcakes across two colours so that I had pink cakes above cream cake cases. I backed the Os with two layers of vellum to soften the background and stuck my cupcakes inside them.

All my papers are from Storyteller. I started the page with a couple of paper strips across the top and a branding strip at the bottom, then arranged my photos next to my title piece. I cut three butterflies from a paper for embellishment and added enamel butterflies and lots of gold gems. (My journalling goes under the title but I took the photos first.)
